Product Orders, Manufacture and Use

Product Specifications

All Digilegs products are manufactured to order and built to the specifications selected by the customer at the time of purchase. Product images, photographs and videos are provided for illustrative purposes only. Minor variations in appearance, finish, materials, colours, components or manufacturing methods may occur without affecting the functionality of the product.

Sizing Information

Customers are responsible for providing accurate measurements and selecting the appropriate size options when placing an order. Where sizing advice is provided, such advice is based solely on the information supplied by the customer and does not constitute a guarantee of fit.

Lead Times

Any manufacturing, dispatch or delivery times stated on the Website are estimates only and are provided for guidance purposes. While we make reasonable efforts to meet estimated lead times, delays may occur due to material availability, production schedules, supplier delays, shipping carriers, customs procedures or circumstances beyond our reasonable control.

Order Acceptance

An order shall not be deemed accepted until payment has been received and manufacturing has been scheduled. We reserve the right to refuse, cancel or decline any order before manufacture begins and issue a refund where appropriate.

Order Cancellations

Customers may request cancellation of an order before manufacture has commenced. Once manufacture has commenced, orders may not be cancelled due to the bespoke and made-to-order nature of Digilegs products.

Returns and Refunds

Returns, refunds, modifications and exchanges are governed by our Refund Policy. Customers should review the Refund Policy before placing an order.

Custom Manufactured Products

Digilegs products are manufactured to the customer’s specifications, including but not limited to height configuration, calf sizing, footwear size, suspension selection and optional upgrades. Due to the bespoke nature of these products, they may be exempt from standard cancellation or cooling-off rights where permitted by applicable law.

Safe Use

Digilegs products are specialist performance equipment intended for trained and responsible users. Customers and users are responsible for ensuring they are physically capable of operating the equipment safely and should familiarise themselves with its operation before public, professional or recreational use.

The use of stilts, performance equipment and associated accessories involves inherent risks including falls, collisions, loss of balance, property damage, personal injury or death. By purchasing or using Digilegs products, customers acknowledge and accept these risks.

Inspection and Maintenance

Users are responsible for inspecting their equipment before each use and ensuring all components remain secure, functional and in suitable condition. Equipment showing signs of excessive wear, damage, modification or deterioration should not be used until repaired or replaced.

Modifications

Digilegs products must not be modified, altered or adapted without prior written approval from Area 51 Design Ltd. We accept no liability for any injury, loss, damage or failure resulting from unauthorised modifications, misuse, improper maintenance or use contrary to supplied instructions.

Weight Limits and Usage

Customers are responsible for ensuring that the selected product is suitable for their intended use and body weight. Any published weight limits, operating instructions or safety guidance must be followed at all times.

Limitation of Product Liability

Nothing within these Terms excludes or limits any liability that cannot lawfully be excluded under applicable consumer protection legislation. Subject to this, Area 51 Design Ltd shall not be liable for loss, damage or injury arising from misuse, improper fitting, unauthorised modification, inadequate maintenance, failure to inspect equipment prior to use, or use contrary to supplied instructions and safety guidance.
